Poppyseed

Terms of use

The terms for using Poppyseed and Poppyseed Plus. Read them with the privacy policy.

TERMS OF USE

Poppyseed is provided as is. We work to keep your data safe and the app accurate, and we don't promise either is perfect. You're responsible for decisions about your child's care. You may not use the app to break the law or to attack the service. We may update these terms; the date at the bottom of this page shows when they last changed.

Subscriptions

Poppyseed Plus is a monthly or yearly subscription, billed to your Apple Account under Apple's standard terms. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. If you start with a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Refunds are handled by Apple.

The free tier keeps the full log, the daily briefing, and backups, forever.

POPPYSEED SCHOOL AND POPPY

School and Poppy are education and organization, not medical advice. The lessons follow published guidance from bodies such as the AAP, CDC, WHO and NHS as of the date they were written, and every figure in them is a published one, but they have not been reviewed by a clinician and they do not know your child. Poppy's answers come from a language model and can be wrong. Your pediatrician does know your child; when something feels wrong, call them — or 911 in an emergency — rather than relying on an app.

APPLE'S LICENSE

Poppyseed is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These terms add to it.
